The owners and staff were very welcoming, very kind and friendly. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. The food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Advised

I stayed at this hotel with my family for a few days of skiing. The location is definitely not the best for accessing the lifts, but I found everything else to be positive, which is why I think the 5 stars are deserved. The owner, Michela, is courteous and helpful, the food is good, the breakfast is well-stocked, the hotel is generally clean, and there are several common areas. The relaxation area isn't large, but if you visit during off-peak periods, you can make full use of it. There's also a gym, which I haven't seen or used, so I can't comment on it. Bottom line: I would go back.

Excellent for celiacs and non-celiacs

We spent four wonderful days pampered in a room that smelled clean, a fabulous breakfast, and a delicious menu (all gluten-free). The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. We used the spa, which, strangely enough, was unoccupied, so it was just the two of us. Fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent structure

The hotel is located a few steps from the center of Malé and the ski bus stop for Daolasa. Breakfast is really excellent with a wide variety of sweet and savory products. The wellness area is well-equipped, with a Turkish bath, sauna, emotional shower, and a large hot tub. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend it for both a ski holiday and a summer vacation.

Hospitality and friendliness

A hotel and restaurant with an AIC (Italian IC) certification for years, but with a personal touch that's constantly improving; hearty breakfasts with homemade cakes, exquisite dinners, and unparalleled gluten-free desserts. The staff is equally knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent location. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel

Welcoming, relaxing stay

The Hotel Michela, almost entirely renovated, is welcoming and pleasant. Guests feel at home and find adequate solutions to all their needs. The managers are particularly attentive to their discretion and kindness. The traditional cuisine is delicious, varied, and plentiful, and caters to all needs (including vegetarians). Cleanliness and efficiency are the hallmarks of the hotel.

A great family vacation in a lovely area and very good hospitality

We were a family of 6 persons in 3 double rooms and spent 6 days in Val di Sole lodging at Michela Hotel. We arrived late and got the rooms fast. Michela was super attended to our requests about gluten free breakfast, room type etc. When we needed help she also helped to arrange bike ride, restaurant reservation and much more as there were not too many English speaking in the valley. We managed to enjoy almost anything we wished for with her help. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast included very large variety of products. We also enjoyed the very nice spa area. The hotel location is great as it is few streets up the hill to get a nice view and at the same time 10 minutes walk from Male center. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a vacation in Val Di Sole and wish to thank Michela for hosting us in this great vacation.

Holiday from July 22nd to 29th 2018

This year, my husband and I returned to Val di Sole to the Hotel Michela. A few years ago, it was our favorite destination for several summers; we had small children, and this hotel proved to be a great choice for them, too, thanks to its tranquility and welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, it always offered a varied menu, even suitable for our daughter, who is gluten-intolerant. The welcome was excellent, and the information Michela provided was very helpful for visiting several interesting places in the area. The dining room staff was highly professional and kind, as was the room service staff. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet vacation while still being able to explore beautiful places within a relatively short radius.
