In a sunny and peaceful location, nestled between Alpine meadows and forests, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, you’ll find our family-run Alpenhotel Schönwald. In summer, our hotel is within walking distance of the Jochtal cable car and the bus stop, in winter, it is located directly on the ski slope - the perfect starting point for all your family’s summer and winter adventures. Wether it’s hiking and mountain biking in summer or skiing and snowshoeing in winter, you’ll always enjoy an active experience in nature.
Afte an eventful day of exploring, you can unwind in our wellness area featuring various saunas and an indoor pool. In the evening, enjoy our carefully prepared South Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine, and round off the day with a glass of wine at our hotel bar.
Always happy to listen and to assist you personally are Patrizia and her husband Dietmar. Together with their family, they run the hotel in its second generation - with warm South Tyrolean hospitality and great attention to detail.
