Escape from everyday life

After two years of pandemic and fear of war, we decided to stay at the Gruber family's guesthouse. We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home! The entire house is furnished with great attention to detail and a lot of love. The location is the icing on the cake! This kind of wonderful place can only be created when the family is truly passionate about it – and they are! The Gruber family (senior) took care of all the guest communication. We really appreciated their calm and thoughtful way of sharing their knowledge with their guests! The Gruber family (junior) took care of everything else, including the food! This too was handled with great care and without any rush or stress! We can honestly say that we felt like part of the family during our stay and we wholeheartedly recommend the Gruber family's guesthouse! A heartfelt thank you to the Gruber family for 11 days of wonderful relaxation!

We were great!

Everything was perfect, nothing more to add. Kudos to the family who runs it all. They truly make you feel at home. Definitely worth repeating, even in the summer. A definite plus for the food: both breakfast and dinner were fantastic.
