Relaxing holidays in Verdings - pure nature

We stayed at the Gasthof St. Valentin for the first time, from September 4th to 11th, 2017, for eight days with half-board. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the warm welcome from the family. The inn is beautifully situated in the center of the village, near the charming church, with a breathtaking view of the Eisack Valley and the Dolomites. Our lovely room with a balcony and modern bathroom was spotlessly clean every day. In the cozy, beautifully set lounge, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a varied dinner each evening, both of which were delicious and beautifully presented. The kitchen is run by a father and son – a big thank you to both of them! Mrs. Stecher is incredibly friendly and attentive to her guests, and she does her best to accommodate special requests. There are numerous hiking opportunities to the surrounding alpine pastures and mountains. And if the weather isn't so great, the easily accessible towns of Klausen, Brixen, Bolzano, Merano, and others are a great option. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Stecher family for eight wonderful days of vacation!
