Descendant of a family of Alpine Guides, Adriano Alimonta was born and lives in the beautiful Alpine town of Madonna di Campiglio.
Since he was a boy, he has frequented the mountains both in winter, with competitive activities as a downhill skier, and in summer, climbing up to the top of the mountains and the spiers of the house. His sporting activity gave him success and in the 1991 he become Italian ski mountaineering champion. Ski instructor since 1988 and Alpine Guide Master of Mountaineering since 1996, Adriano Alimonta works as a freelance consultant in the management and safety of ski slopes of the "3.Tre" World Cup slalom.
He collaborates as a promoter with Atomic, Kreuzspitze, Leica, Montura, MSR, Ortovox and Salice.
An expert in snow science, he has obtained numerous certificates in the field of safety and avalanche release.
He was for 9 years President of the Alpine Rescue-Trentino Provincial Service. Now he is engaged as an Instructor and Helicopter Rescue Technician at the bases of Trento and the Aiut Alpin Dolomites.
Deep connoisseur of the mountains of his home, the "Brenta Dolomites", the "Adamello", the "Presanella", the "Ortles" and the "Cevedale", he loves to travel unpublished itineraries to make known the most particular corners and more suggestive views, reaching places and peaks to rediscover the mountaineering of the past.
The main activities proposed are: trekking, via ferrate, climbing, high mountain, ski mountaineering, freeride, ice falls, accompanied skiing and mountain bike.
