Hello, my name is Paola – though my friends call me "ForestPaola"!
"Forest" because I’m a forestry scientist and a nature guide, always wandering through the woods. "Forest" because I’m a "furesta" (an outsider), having moved to Trentino from my native Tuscany: I always carry Florentine wit and a love for the land I live in in my rucksack! "Forest" because I’m cheerful and a bit silly like Forrest Gump – and I’ll win you over by sharing nature with a smile and a joke.
Come and walk with me along old paths deep in the woods: I’ll tell you about ancient stories and traditions, centuries-old plants and curious animals, precious stones, and the people of the mountains.
