Mountain hut Dibona

The mountain lodge Angelo Dibona is situated at the foot of the Tofana di Rozes at 2083m. The mountain lodge is approximately 8 km from the center of Cortina and can be easily reached by car along the regional road 48. It is also appreciated by mountain bikers during the summer. The hut is an excellent starting point for excursions of various types: beginning with easy trails to admire the beauties of the Natural Park of Cortina, the proper climbing paths on the Tofane (the Costantini / Apollonio and the Pillar), and the medium-high difficult paths called "ferrate" as Lipella and Punta Anna. During wintertime there are organized dinners combined with a shuttle service with the snowmobile, while during the day the shelter is within walking distance (beaten path), with the skins or snowshoes. From the sunny terrace you can enjoy amazing views of the mountains "Croda da Lago", the "Lastoni di Formin" and the "Antelao", while tasting the culinary specialties. The kitchen is rich in local products, in fact it offers tasty dishes as "casunziei all’Ampezzana" (beetroot-filled ravioli), garganelli with sausage and radicchio, beef steak, cutlets of venison with blueberry jam and homemade strudel.
