Mountain hut with rooms Pian dell’Arma

Giulia Rolando welcomes you to the Pian dell’Arma mountain hut, a reception point for those who walk the eighth and ninth stages of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and for those who, from the Riviera Ligure di Ponente, want to reach the Ligurian Alps in a short time.
This place is a jewel waiting to be discovered that lends itself to numerous outdoor activities such as trekking, climbing, Nordic walking and caving between Liguria and Piedmont. From its 1350 m above sea level, the mountain hut offers a breathtaking panorama of the Ligurian Sea and the cliffs of the Rocca dell’Arma. In winter, it is also possible to go snowshoeing. The hut’s kitchen follows the rhythm of the seasons.
Rocky cliffs alternate with Mediterranean scrub where the Ligurian Alps almost touch the coast. The proximity between the ’first’ Alps and the Ligurian Riviera offers special landscapes: the paths pass over alpine pastures, while the gaze is lost in the sea.
Alpine vegetation takes over, with pines soaring skywards, rhododendrons and edelweiss, as well as a variety of flowers unique in the world, surround the mountain hut.
