Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, at an altitude of 1,840 metres, lies our cosy Hochfeldalm, nestled in a quiet alpine landscape and surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama. The view extends across the Zillertal Alps and the Hohe Tauern, over the gentle peaks of the surrounding mountains and the lush green alpine meadows and forests. Up here, tranquillity, nature and genuine enjoyment set the pace.
We serve traditional alpine specialities such as homemade Graukäse, fresh alpine butter and crusty farmhouse bread – honest, regional products prepared with great care and passion.
On our sunny terrace, you can enjoy not only the authentic flavours of the alpine pasture, but also the clear mountain air, birdsong and a soothing silence that is often hard to find down in the valley.
