The refuge Roda di Vaèl is situated on the saddle of the Ciampaz, at a hight of 2283 meters and in the middle of the Catinaccio. Regarding the mountain lodges, it is one of the points of reference of this famous mountain group that was enlarged and renovated. The mountain lodge offers a restaurant, bar, 50 beds, a large terrace and solarium.

The sweet place

A magnificent place, a must-visit for us every time we're in Trentino. The owners are fabulous, always welcoming you with a smile like old friends. The food is excellent, and the local liqueurs are excellent.

It’s always a pleasure to come back

Every year when we are in Val di Fassa we visit the refuge, which is strategically located for our walks. There's no need to describe the magnificent location, because anyone who knows it knows that at least once you have to pass by and stop for something. The fast and extremely kind service from the staff will win you over in an instant!

A beauty

A welcoming refuge located in a wonderful spot with stunning views, close to two beautiful via ferratas. Two spacious dormitories and the option of four-bed rooms are available. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Roberta, the refuge manager, is ready to offer advice and care. Many activities are also organized throughout the season, from LEGO for children to a night with the amateur astronomers!
