Alpine farm Valmaggiore

Malga Valmaggiore was born from an old mountain hut once used for producing high-altitude cheese.
Renovated in 2022 under the guidance of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, it now reopens its doors to tourism, offering dining and accommodations through a young and dynamic staff to those seeking an unforgettable experience.
This typical mountain building blends perfectly with its surroundings: the lush meadows where cows graze, the stream running alongside, and the forest that, despite being scarred by the Vaia storm in 2018, is slowly regenerating.
This place is a small corner of paradise, far from the noise and confusion of the city, and a starting point for numerous trails leading to the wild Lagorai mountain range, suitable for all types of hikers.
Located at 1,600 meters, six kilometers from the nearest town of Predazzo, Malga Valmaggiore is a cherished spot for most valley residents and beyond, the nearby memorial chapel, reopened in 2023 after being rebuilt following its destruction, welcomes visits from members of the Alpini group.
