Accommodation very suitable for cyclists

We received a very warm welcome from our hostess. She was friendly and helpful in accommodating our specific needs as cyclists, making us feel perfectly at ease from the start. Her tips for exploring the area were very helpful and enhanced our stay. The excellent breakfast gave us the energy we needed for the next day's cycling. The proximity to the cycle path was also a major plus. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

A lovely accommodation

We highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed here in the summer of 2024 and most recently in the winter of 2026. Many worthwhile destinations were easily accessible by car, for example Kronplatz in 15 minutes, Speikboden and Klausberg in about 40 minutes, the Saiser Alm in about 60 minutes, the Three Peaks ski area in about 40 minutes, the Reichenbach Waterfalls in about 30 minutes, and many beautiful hiking areas and mountain lakes were also easily reachable in about 40 minutes. Within walking distance is a lovely pond, perfect for swimming in the summer. Bruneck boasts a beautiful old town and an ice cream parlor where children are treated to generous portions. The residence offers good Wi-Fi and free parking. Nearby restaurants serve dinner. We stayed in the "Kronplatz" apartment, which has a great view, was very clean, and is a lovely holiday home for families with up to three children. There's a foosball table and a ping-pong table in the garden. The whole team is friendly and helpful. Public transport is included in the price. Traveling by train and bus is ideal for hiking areas that regulate access in the summer – such as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo or Lake Prags. We have already booked the accommodation again for winter 2027 and are looking forward to our holiday in beautiful South Tyrol.

Highly recommended!

I stayed for a week at Garni di Marlis. The apartment is charming, comfortable, meticulously designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need (dishes and linens just like at home). The beds are comfortable, and the soundproofing ensures a good night's sleep, even for those who are sensitive to noise. Marlis's hospitality and attention to guests are a much-appreciated plus. Highly recommended!

June 2025 Vacation

We recently returned from our holiday in South Tyrol, staying at this wonderful property. Mrs. Marlis offered a wonderful sense of hospitality, making our stay a pleasant one, and was always available to answer any questions we had. The apartment is quiet, clean and well-organized, and conveniently located for visiting other places in the area. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

An experience to be repeated

Very well-kept apartment, excellent location, perfect welcome from Marlis, always smiling and kind. Brunico is just a few minutes away, and the house is located in a really lovely residential area. A 10 out of 10 (also for Marlis's buckwheat cake).

Kindness

Enchanting, family-run place, Marlins and Fabien are wonderful people, comfortable apartment, not to mention the exceptional breakfasts, with strudel and cakes made by the very talented Marlins. After 4 years I feel like part of the family and I hope to return next year.

A pleasant discovery

My family and I have been visiting the Pusteria Valley for 25 years, both in summer and winter, always preferring the Alta Pusteria but still travelling everywhere. In August, we decided to escape the stifling heat of the city at the last minute and found accommodations in Casteldarne with the very friendly and hospitable Marlis. Just a few kilometers from Brunico, with excellent train connections, Casteldarne was a pleasant surprise due to its strategic location. Furthermore, the tranquility that one breathes in this small town restores the spirit. The accommodation in a splendid, comfortable, and new apartment, with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, made our short week-long vacation truly a blessing. It was a shame we decided so last minute, and it was a shame that Marlis had already booked the apartment for the following week; otherwise, we would have happily extended our vacation for at least another week. It will be for next summer! Thanks again to Marlis for her hospitality and all the information she gave us.

Wonderful apartment!

Feeling at home

A holiday that makes you relax
