I stayed here last week, and the atmosphere was fantastic (I was hoping for beautiful September days, but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best). As soon as I entered the apartment, I felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket. The house was already warm (the average outside temperature was 8°C). The owner, Mr. Giuseppe, welcomed us with freshly picked vegetables from his own garden. The house was clean, fragrant, and the linens impeccable. All the windows overlook the Dolomites. When we woke in the morning, the peaks were snow-capped, allowing us to enjoy this spectacle even while staying indoors. Every morning, we woke to find breakfast, ordered the night before, waiting in front of our apartment door (warm, freshly baked bread, fragrant jams, spectacular yogurt butter, and locally sourced fruit juices). Of course, this is a paid service, but it was just a few euros per day, justified by the receipt always present in our envelope. On our first day, the owner gave us free Holiday Cards for use of all public transportation and museums. The property offers a green area for free barbecues or sunbathing. This garden is also equipped for the little ones, with swings, soccer goals, and much more. It was a fantastic experience, and I plan to book again for my skiing holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great time without being ripped off by the price.

holidays in September

Excellent September vacation. Very kind and helpful owners. Beautiful, large, and very scenic apartment. Excellent location, isolated yet very close to the center and all amenities. The only two small flaws: the wifi didn't work well and the TV/sofa positioning was a bit uncomfortable. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back. Recommended.

Here you can truly relax!!!!

This time we stayed at the property managed by Stefano Sorà, son of Mr. and Mrs. Giuseppe. Once again (this was the third time), they showed us their legendary hospitality, providing us with bread and pastries every morning. The beautiful apartment was appreciated not only by my wife and I, but also by our dog Kyra, who has a small private garden. The weather wasn't always favorable, but the hospitality we received made us feel at ease and forget everything else.

Nothing is missing

Mr. Giuseppe is a very helpful and friendly person. The apartment has everything you need: large, sunny, and very convenient for the ski lifts, with the ski bus passing right below. The town center, with its supermarket and other shops, is a 5-minute walk away. Mr. Giuseppe's morning service, with bread/brioche or fresh milk delivered to your door, is priceless. We'll definitely be back in both winter and summer. Thank you for everything.

In my opinion a very nice residence

For the Sant'Ambrogio long weekend, I wanted to return to a place I'd missed in years. By chance, I stumbled upon this residence, which immediately struck a chord with me. And I wasn't wrong... I arrived by car around 9:15 PM, and despite the biting cold of -19°C (-0.4°F), the owner was gracious in welcoming us outside, helping us unload our luggage from the car and stow our skis. Inside, the apartment I occupied was very comfortable and well-designed, and the perfect temperature throughout the entire stay made me feel pleasantly pampered. Not to mention the impeccable cleanliness and the beautiful view (Piculin slope) from the windows. There's also a dedicated ski storage area, better than some 3- and 4-star hotels I've stayed in in the Alps, with a ski bus stop right outside the door! An incredible convenience. Then... let's see what else... The town center is easily accessible on foot (look for a shortcut) if you want to take a stroll... Areas where you can go for long walks, a lake very close by, and many winter and summer sports. If you want to do some grocery shopping, there's a supermarket and restaurants just a short walk from the Residence. Obviously, these are just personal preferences, but I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended the Residence to many of my friends. Unfortunately, there was a lot of snow, and I didn't go on any excursions to the lake... The owners were fantastic, very attentive and never intrusive to our needs. Fresh breakfast is available in the morning if you book it the night before.

I hope to return soon

The owners are very kind and helpful. The apartment is comfortable, fully equipped, and has a small garden with deckchairs, a table, and chairs. Upon request, the owner will bring you fresh bread and croissants in the morning! There's a playground for children, and it's just a 5-minute walk from the town square and the Despar supermarket. The bus stop is very close, and it's free because Sorà provides a bus pass for everyone. San Vigilio is beautiful, and there are lovely walks, even with small children. We have a 2-year-old daughter.

We’re back

As promised, after two years, we returned to Residence Sorà. In early June, we spent a fantastic week. In addition to my wife and Kyra (our dog), this time my daughter and partner were with us. We enjoyed beautiful hikes to snow-capped peaks above 2,000 meters (it rained for two hours all week). We once again enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. Giuseppe and his wife, who provided us with fresh bread and other treats every morning. For those who love a relaxing vacation, this is the perfect time.

Wonderful and very kind

We had a wonderful time, the location is wonderful, the apartment is in a secluded location but close to the center and was an excellent starting point for our snowshoe adventures. The owner was very kind. We will definitely be back.

Warm and comfortable

We stayed in a large, warm, and well-maintained apartment for six people. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a sofa in the living room that could be used as a single bed. The owners were very kind and helpful. Bus tickets were included. A home-delivered bakery service was provided.

I would go back there

I will definitely be back. A week in mid-June 2017, with my wife and our large dog, Kyra. Mr. Giuseppe and his wife always made us feel at ease, providing us with bread, pastries, and jams for breakfast every morning. I was initially worried about the second-floor apartment because of our dog, but everything worked out fine. Although a little dated, the apartment was comfortable and welcoming. The month of June itself (and I think September as well) was a great time for us to enjoy a relaxing week, especially considering the quality/price ratio. Thank you!

Comfortable and welcoming

We booked a four-day stay in December with our family. The apartments are beautiful, new, and comfortable, right across from the ski bus stop, which runs frequently throughout the day. There are many amenities, including a fully equipped ski storage room and a garage. And then there's the kindness and helpfulness of Mr. Giuseppe, the owner of the property. It's also very convenient that you can order bread, milk, and other breakfast items the night before, with prices per receipt. Overall, we had a great time and will be back.
