Large, comfortable apartment equipped with everything you need. Comfortable mattresses, just steps from the town center, accessible via the pedestrian and cycle path. Unfortunately, the main road to Cortina is blocked by a landslide; we received information about other excursions in the area.

Pleasant and relaxing holiday

Excellent location just minutes from Cortina and the main Alpine valleys. Extremely quiet. Ground-floor apartment with a terrace overlooking the meadow, the forest, and Mount Pelmo looming above. The apartment is fully equipped and clean.

Immersed in nature

I stayed with my family during the 2021-2022 winter season, coming on weekends and for longer periods during the Christmas and Easter holidays. We had a wonderful time in every way. The apartment is truly lovely, well-furnished, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house itself is equally beautiful, spotlessly clean, and nestled in a stunning natural setting on the edge of the forest, where you can often see roe deer and deer, especially early in the morning. Furthermore, the owners, Caterina and Germano, are wonderful people.

Summer stay 2021

Everything really very positive. The owners' hospitality and helpfulness, the apartment's fantastic location (at the foot of the forest, a stone's throw from the bike path, and just the right distance from the center of San Vito, which is sometimes crowded with cars), the apartment's layout, the quiet, and the bright rooms... An experience definitely worth repeating.

Fantastic week!

We spent a fantastic week as guests of the dear De Vido-Ambrosi family. The house is in a great location (convenient to the bike path and the center of San Vito, yet sheltered from traffic) with an exceptional view of Mount Pelmo and Mount Antelao. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort. The garden is lovely, with swings, a fountain, benches, and a barbecue. A sincere thank you to the De Vido-Ambrosi family for their hospitality and kindness. We can't wait to return!

Super apartment, hospitality and friendliness

We just returned from a week's vacation in San Vito di Cadore and stayed at Residence Ciasa Festinel. Upon arrival, we found the apartment to be truly clean, well-maintained, and spacious, with exceptional amenities (oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, free Wi-Fi, and a TV). Outside, there's a private garden, also beautifully landscaped, with tables and chairs for relaxing and a swing where the girls could play safely and safely. The residence is located in a very quiet area just outside the town center, yet just above the Calalzo-Cortina bike/pedestrian path. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away, without the hassle of traffic on the SS51 highway and without having to take a car. Last but not least, we greatly appreciated the hospitality and friendliness of the De Vido Amborsi family, owners of the property, who always made us feel at home and in a family atmosphere.

It couldn’t have been better

Ciasa Festinel: a guarantee!

We've been choosing this beautiful Cadore location and this welcoming property for our summer holidays for over eight years. The De Vido family is incredibly hospitable: the apartments are meticulously cared for, and cleanliness is the house's forte. The outdoors are equally impressive: a large garden with swings and deckchairs at the foot of the forest, where, if you're lucky, you might occasionally spot a deer or squirrel. San Vito is a beautiful village nestled in the most beautiful mountains in the Veneto region, and from the apartments you can enjoy views of Mount Pelmo and Mount Antelao. The town center is just under 20 minutes' walk away, along the bike path, which is also lit at night. San Vito di Cadore offers beautiful walks, even for those with less experience, and is a great starting point for more challenging hikes and hikes, which are truly unforgettable due to the views they offer. We've been staying in San Vito di Cadore for many years, and it's always a pleasure to return! Ciasa Festinel: highly recommended!

This summer, as we've done for several years now, we spent a week as guests of the De Vido family. The apartments are all meticulously maintained, down to the smallest details, and offer splendid views of the surrounding mountains.
