Yes, pure relaxation!

The hosts are very friendly and eager to help. The apartment is well-equipped with attention to detail. Everything works (doors and windows, drains, faucets, electricity, Wi-Fi). It's great that there's a convenient hot water solution. You don't have to run the water for five minutes until it gets hot. It saves water and time, and it works! Good location. If it weren't for Corona, everything could be achieved with public funds... This was the first time I'd ever experienced this (since I was alone on the mountain) – the hosts were worried about me, and I left a note in my room every day saying where I was (in case I didn't return). It was nice knowing someone was thinking of me... Thank you!

Beautiful days in the Martell Valley

A very friendly and warm welcome. Due to Covid-19, the required hygiene measures were necessary, but in no way disruptive! I was provided with comprehensive information upon arrival and afterwards as well. Even a few rainy days wouldn't have spoiled my stay in the bright, very well-equipped apartment with its wonderful view of the valley. The location is very convenient for the bus, a small grocery store, and the post office. Homemade products made my stay with the Oberhofer family even sweeter after my return home.

Relaxing week

With complete peace of mind!

Residence located in an absolutely quiet location, functional, practical, and new first-floor apartment for 4 people. The only flaw is the TV, which can only receive the 3 Rai channels.

Truly unforgettable days!

We only spent five days at Residence Alpenrose, but they were truly full and wonderful. The location is enchanting and perfect as a base for short or more challenging hikes. The owners are very kind, and the apartment is comfortable and functional. Our cat was also very happy!

Nice and quiet

An excellent starting point for many destinations, with beautiful, well-marked trails. Excellent strawberries, even in August, thanks to the valley's cultivation, and nearby glaciers. In short, everything we were looking for. The apartment was clean, as was everything else, and peace and quiet guaranteed!

A wonderful holiday with very nice hosts

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and a wonderful holiday began with a cup of coffee on the sunny terrace. The Pirhofer family, especially Evi Oberhofer, are the kind of hosts one could only wish for. Whatever our wishes, they were all fulfilled. The hotel's own breakfast or bread roll service ensured a relaxing start to the holiday day. The location, with the view from the balcony of the mountains and the valley, was simply fantastic. It was the perfect place to relax and end the day. Whether hiking, cycling or strolling, it was simply fun. We highly recommend the Residence Alpenrose Martelltal. Alpenrose

This apartment have a lot of advice for us. Perfect position for every trips what you like. We can go to towns, on mountains or go to small walk easy from this place. Buses are arrived regularly and the bus stop is located near the apartment. You have beautiful views of mountains and nice villages. The owners are very nice and friendly and somewhen give you fresh vegetable like cucumbers and zucchini. The equipment of this apartments is new and clean, same like surroundings. This apartment is perfect. I am really content and I can recommend it for everyone.

Recommended structure

My family and I spent our July vacation in a week in an apartment at this top-floor residence. It was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The owners were available to accommodate our every request. In short, it was a very good value for money. Val Martello is a charming and peaceful starting point for numerous excursions, less crowded with tourists than the rest of Val Venosta. One piece of advice I can give is to carefully calculate the distances between the places you want to visit, as it's all up and down, and 30 km on a ring road is not the same as driving on mountain roads, which can take a lot longer.

Pure relaxation!

The accommodation at the Alpenrose was beautiful and very relaxing, both the first time and this time. The Oberhofer family is very accommodating, helpful and extremely friendly. Even in rainy moments, they help out with suggestions for activities. The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. And those who haven't yet had the chance to get to know the area should set off quickly and find their inner happiness! Keep up the good work and thank you for your time!

First holiday in the Martell Valley

During the Easter holidays of 2017, we stayed at the Alpenrose Residence for the first time. We received a very warm welcome and found a spacious apartment. The cleanliness was the first thing we noticed. The kitchen and furnishings were fully equipped. We particularly appreciated the morning bread delivery service. Since we went on holiday for skiing, we unfortunately had to take an hour's drive to the Schnalstal valley. The area around Martell is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. I would book the Alpenrose residence again anytime and recommend it without reservation.

Hiking holiday in the Martell Valley

We spent two enjoyable weeks hiking in the Martell Valley and felt very comfortable in our holiday apartment at Residence Alpenrose. The proximity to the grocery store and the bus stop was ideal. The regularly scheduled bus to the valley and Lake Zufritt (approx. 2000m above sea level) offers the opportunity to explore the diverse nature and culture of this region. The friendly and helpful hosts contributed significantly to the pleasant atmosphere of the house.

Vacation with friends

My wife and I spent a wonderful holiday in the splendid Val Venosta with our dearest couple of friends. All the beautiful valleys, even the smaller ones, are rich in history and natural treasures.
