A stay of peace and silence

My wife Patrizia and I, along with our little dog Scooby (a Yorkshire Terrier), stayed at Residence Haus Rufinatscha during the first half of July, hosted by Mrs. Renate. The first pleasant surprise was her welcome: she immediately made us feel at home. The view from the terrace, overlooking the green meadows and surrounding mountains, is also unforgettable, accompanied by a sweet silence, perfect for reading and relaxing. The apartment, though small, was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is ideal for excursions and walks, not only in the Venosta Valley, but also in nearby Switzerland and Austria. We sincerely thank Mrs. Renate for our wonderful stay: she is truly kind and very professional. We sincerely hope to return next year: we are already missing our hometown.

Peace and harmony away from the frenetic pace of modern life

Magical place

We returned to Tubre again this year. We recommend this place to those who love discovering happiness and serenity in the daily routines of an enchanting place where pristine nature blends with the traditions of a village where the good old traditions are still alive. Highly recommended

Mrs. Renate was incredibly kind and helpful, both during the information request and the subsequent booking process. Once we arrived in this small town, near the Swiss border, we found ourselves in a truly meticulously maintained environment, surrounded by greenery, with an outdoor gazebo available for guests and an impeccable garden. Upon entering the residence, we were welcomed into a very comfortable apartment with a small but cozy panoramic terrace and a kitchen equipped with every comfort: coffee maker, toaster, juicer, etc. Furthermore, there were all kinds of dishes and clean dishcloths, and the bed in the bedroom was already made up with fresh, well-ironed sheets. The residence, in general, is not brand new, but it has been meticulously renovated: the furniture is new and well-maintained, the floors are wooden, and even the bathroom seemed very comfortable and welcoming. The absolute highlight: the cleanliness, which I would almost describe as embarrassing (in a positive sense!), despite how meticulous and perfect it was, everywhere and in every detail. The shower looked freshly installed, the kitchen was spotless, and the entire countertop, stainless steel sink, and appliances were pristine, practically immaculate. The bathroom was sparkling, to say the least, and all the windows were significantly cleaner than those in my house. The landlady is very kind, friendly, and open to conversation, always ready to provide any information. I plan to return to the area soon and will definitely contact her again, as it was a real pleasure meeting her. I highly recommend her apartments to anyone looking for a simple, quiet, and welcoming stay, perhaps even with their four-legged friends, who I've found to be very welcome. Another plus for me, as an animal lover.

Relax and comfort

We stayed at this property with our dog. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and the view is fantastic. It's absolutely peaceful, and beautiful trails start right outside. Mrs. Renata is extremely kind and available to meet any needs. Towels are available for a change, and I was even allowed to do laundry. We've already planned to return in the fall for a breather before winter.

Great holiday

My heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Renate for the wonderful holiday in Tubre, in her wonderful home: a magnificent, quiet place with a view of the valley, the perfect apartment, equipped with every comfort. The bus service is unparalleled, as is the case throughout South Tyrol, allowing you to travel anywhere for free, including the legendary colorful train. And then, proximity to Switzerland and the whole beautiful Val Venosta, with its magnificent villages: Malles, Resia, S. Valentino alla Muta, etc. and also chapels, churches, the magnificent Abbey of Monte Maria and Mustair... I thank Renate again for her thoughtfulness and helpfulness, her discretion, her chats in the garden or on the stairs, and her willingness to provide any useful information. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I'm really looking forward to returning. Thank you so much, Mrs. Renate.

A wonderful place to spend peaceful days

An enchanting place, nestled between Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. Tubre is a quiet village, surrounded by every imaginable shade of green, far from the tourist crowds yet very close to every interesting site in the Venosta Valley. The apartments at Casa Rufinatscha are clean, well-furnished, and well-equipped (there's even a dishwasher!). But the real highlight is the lady of the house, Renate. Friendly, open, and welcoming, she's a wealth of information that she shares through rich and constructive conversation. She always offers the right advice at the right time, ensuring every moment is enjoyed to the fullest. We bow to her determination and kind smile.

Ideal location for visiting the Upper Venosta Valley

We spent a very pleasant week at one of the Rufinatscha apartments in Tubre. We were greeted with great kindness and helpfulness by Mrs. Renate, who made us feel immediately at ease. We especially appreciated the tranquility, the view of the valley, and the easy access to the area's most interesting towns (Glorenza, Malles, Prato Stelvio, Curon, Lake Resia, and Müstair, Switzerland). One of the most beautiful features of Rufinatscha was the garden: truly enchanting with its flowery and fragrant corners, where I often rested and sunbathed. I would love to go back next year.

Kindness and confidentiality Mrs. Renate

Following our positive experience in Tubre last summer, we returned to Val Monastero again this year at Haus Rufinatscha. Our stay was unforgettable, not only for the beauty of the pristine nature (Stelvio National Park, just a stone's throw from Switzerland), but also for Renate's kindness and hospitality, for which we are deeply grateful. Holiday in Val Venosta

First of all, I was struck by the house's location, with its spectacular view. The apartment is very bright and welcoming, especially with a typical South Tyrolean wooden terrace adorned with beautiful flowers. The fully equipped terrace offers stunning views of the valley and mountains. The linen change service was impeccable, something you rarely find in rental apartments. The owner is a delightful and helpful person who makes you feel right at home. A stay to repeat and to recommend to friends.

Feel at home in the wonderful Val Venosta

Being guests in Renate's Rufinatscha house It means having joy and serenity in your days, each apartment is clean, comfortable and well furnished, and from the window you can enjoy breathtaking views, the house has a beautiful garden, vegetable garden and barbecue area, which you can enjoy in the cool of the evening upon returning from the excursion. Lake Resia, Switzerland, Austria and Stelvio are close to the house, the valley is full of excursions, refuges, walks and mountain huts!
