In Maranza, which is located in the middle of the spectacular ski and holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal, a beautiful and special holiday experience awaits you.
Maranza is surrounded by meadows and fields and is located high above Rio di Pusteria at 1,400 m asl. It can either be reached via a panoramic road, or via funicular with lower terminus in Rio di Pusteria.
The well-shaped local mountain of Maranza is the so-called Gitschberg, also simply called "Gitsch". In summer, this mountain (2,500 m) stands for a fabulous hiking area; from the panoramic platform on its summit you can enjoy a breathtaking mountain view.
However, in winter this mountain transforms into a skiing area, able to satisfy anyone’s needs. In front of the house there is also a slope for the little ones making their first passes on snow, while more experienced skiers can head for the blue, red and black slopes on the mountain. The guests can reach the slopes on the Gitschberg with the skis on the feet along snow-ways.
The house is also located directly next to the AlpinPool, the indoor pool of Maranza, where the guests enjoy special conditions.
