Natural History Museum of Po river

The museum is situated in the historic centre of Revello and comprises a spacious exhibition area where visitors can observe at close quarters many aspects of the incredibly rich natural environment that characterises the Monviso network of protected areas, with a particular focus on the habitats surrounding the River Po.
The fascinating dioramas (life-size reconstructions of natural habitats with their ’inhabitants’) on display in this space offer an interesting insight into the river ecosystem and the wildlife that inhabits it, which can be appreciated from both a scientific and an aesthetic perspective.
Designed specifically for schools but open to everyone, the museum also features a screening room for films, as well as a small educational workshop where visitors can explore specific topics related to the various natural environments and human activities within the Park.
The Museum is open on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
