Cross-country ski centre Festiona

The Cross-country ski centre Festiona, located at 710 m.a.s.l. it can rightly be considered a Nordic island in the heart of the Stura Valley. The small hamlet of Demonte hosts, in fact, the most important and well-known area for Nordic skiing in the Cuneo area, with 42 kilometers of slopes that develop in a quiet and still uncontaminated environment. The station is equipped with an artificial snow system. The Cross-country ski centre Festiona is located in a spectacular alpine landscape, which can be admired along more than 40 kilometers of slopes. The tracks have various morphological characteristics, with different walking difficulties: ideal for learning the basic technique and essential for a complete and effective training for tourists and for those who have to prepare for the competitive season. It is also possible to ski a large part of the Stura Valley, from Festiona to Vinadio.
