Pro loco Canove

Pro Loco Canove Tourist Board promotes and enhances the territory, traditions and folklore of this splendid corner of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, a few kilometers from Asiago.
Canove, the most populous fraction of the Municipality of Roana, as well as the seat of the town hall, enjoys its central position, embraced and bounded by the Ghelpack valley to the south and west, and by the Valdassa to the north-west.
Rich traditions that are lost in the folds of time.
The symbol of Canove, the noble Winged Lion, is linked to its patron saint, San Marco, whose patronage dates back to 1378, even before the dedication to the Serenissima Republic of Venice.
The ancient Sagra di San Marco on April 25th was born as a free cattle fair evolving over the course of history and human events until it assumed the character of a folklore and festive event ... up to more recent history which associates the Sagra di San Marco with the romantic and significant custom of the exchange of Cuchi.
