Tourist board Südtiroler Unterland

Summer presentation photo Tourist board Südtiroler Unterland
"A good wine makes the perfect holiday" repeat often our guests: hikers, cyclists and climbers, explorers and wine lovers looking for an authentic and relaxing experience. Starting from March, when the first spring flowers emerge and almond trees burst into bloom, guests can enjoy the warm rays of the sun. The southern charm spreads through the wine-growing landscape, with cypresses, oleanders, figs and olive trees; cycling and walking paths wind through farms, vineyards, apple orchards and woods. The Südtiroler Unterland is not only a tourist destination, but an oasis of peace that offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily life of the local population. The inhabitants of Cortaccia, Magrè and Cortina are mostly fruit and wine growers, who preserve the South Tyrolean agricultural traditions. You can experience up close the 3000 years of wine history at the Museum of People Through Time, participating in the numerous tastings in the renowned international wineries, during guided tours to the picturesque villages and wine estates, and during an excursion on the oldest wine trail in South Tyrol.
