Webcam on the old town of Merano

The webcam is pointed towards the old town of Merano / Meran. In the foreground the Church of San Nicolò, the city cathedral with one of the highest bell towers in South Tyrol / Südtirol. To the right of the bell tower is the Powder Tower, a medieval fortification used in ancient times as a gunpowder depot. Beyond the Tower is the panoramic Tappeiner Promenade / Promenade Tappeinerweg, considered among one of the most beautiful in Europe.
