Webcam on Stern and the Sella Group

From the Residence Rosarela, at the foot of themountain Sass dla Crusc, the webcam captures the village of Stern (in Italian: La Villa), a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Badia / Abtei in Val Badia / Gadertal. One of the main attractions of this resort in Alta Badia / Hochabtei is the Gran Risa ski slope, where a men’s giant slalom race of the Alpine Ski World Cup takes place. In summer, the famous cycling race Maratona delle Dolomiti, also known by its Ladin name Maratona dles Dolomites, starts from Stern. In the background of these images, you can see the Sella Group / Sellagruppe, one of the symbols of the Dolomites and a much-loved destination for countless hikes in this magnificent region of South Tyro / Südtirol.
