Panoramic view from the Hotel Alpenrast in Riva di Tures / Rein in Taufers in the Ahrntal in southeastern direction towards the Hochgall. Riva di Tures / Rein in Taufers is surrounded by the Durreck Group and the peaks of the Rieserferner Group, to whom also the Hochgall belongs. With its northern wall of 3.436 m a.s.l., the latter also wins the title of the highest mountain of the Deferegger Alps.
