The ski school is right down the street. If you have a four-year-old, like we did, you can easily get downstairs five minutes before lessons start, and when you pick them up midday, you're instantly home to feed them and rest as needed.
The house is also ideal for children and adults. The best ski lifts in Val Badia are just steps away, all easily accessible. With your ski boots and skis on your back, you can only walk a few meters; the rest of Val Badia can be explored on skis for the rest of the day.
It's an immense privilege to be the first, every morning, to ski the Gran Risa (our beloved Alberto Tomba's World Cup black run!). Riding that freshly groomed slope (and before the crowds arrive) makes you feel like you're in heaven!
