Orse e Rose is a small complex situated on the plateau of Baron and is located in the village of Forno di Zoldo, nestled between the peaks of this enchanted valley and in some ways still wild in the middle of the "Nature Park of the Belluno Dolomites". All around are mountains and forests: Civetta, Mezzodì, Pelmo, Sasso di Bosconero. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view, whether on the mountains surrounding it, or the village Forno di Zoldo. This facility offers six chalets, built of wood and stone, surrounded by the Belluno Dolomites, and by a garden, which offers about 300 different species of roses. The facility is run by the family Campo, which has been active for decades in the tourism industry. The houses smell like wood and stone. Nicely decorated, they offer some details that through simplicity and functionality enrich the rooms. They are suitable for 4 persons, equipped with kitchens, complete with oven and washing machine, comfortable living room, two bedrooms, a sofa bed for two people, bathroom with shower. The chalets are equipped with every comfort: TV with Dolby surround sound and satellite dish, wireless internet, microwave and washing machine in the kitchen, hairdryer and many small accessories, to make guests feel at home. Heating and hot water are autonomous, modern pellet stoves round off the features of the chalets. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed. Each chalet is also equipped with an outdoor terrace, overlooking the garden with roses. Orse e Rose is located in the municipality of Forno di Zoldo, just a few kilometers from the ski lifts of the ski resort Civetta, which offers 80 km of slopes.
Five minutes from the facility:
- Pharmacy, post office, city hall, restaurants, supermarket, bakery, butcher shop, clothing store, banks, church.
- Several times a day buses circulate connecting Zoldo Alto, Longarone and Belluno.
- Arrangements with Beauty Center in Zoldo Alto, with the stables of Zoldo Alto, with many shops and restaurants in the valley, with the service of the Dolomites mountain guides.
- different ways to exercise and sports available for everyone, delightful excursions of varying difficulty, quiet walks, climbing routes... There are also tennis courts in Forno and you can go fishing. In the district Pralongo there are football pitches.
In winter, the Zoldo valley is a skiing paradise:
- cross-country trails in Campo, Pralongo, Palafavera, Cibiana pass.
- for lovers of Alpine skiing, the magnificent Civetta, always with perfect snow conditions, offers a lot of emotion. The slope Cristelin is open the whole season, also at night: from 19.00 bis 22.00 clock, exciting descents under the stars;
- walking with winter shoes on undiscovered trails and snowy forests;
- ice climbing on frozen waterfalls for athletes who are looking for strong emotions.
Use of kitchen and bed linen included. Each veranda has a gate for dogs. Utilities are excluded (the amount of utilities varies depending on the number of occupants), final cleaning with sanitization and tourist tax are also not included in the price.
