Events Arabba and Marmolada

Saturday 7 June the summer season officially starts with the opening of the Marmolada cable car. It will be possible to reach the 3265m of Punta Rocca and its spectacular panoramic terrace. The ticket price includes a visit to the Museum of the Great War at the second stop of the cable car (Serauta). At the Serauta cable car station, visitors can explore the Marmolada Great War Museum at 3,000 metres. Completely renovated and expanded in 2015, the museum offers a compelling visual and multimedia journey that begins with life in the early 20th century and continues through the daily realities of war in the high mountains. This is one of the most fascinating and unique aspects of the First World War, as never before had battles been fought at such extreme altitudes.

INFO No booking is required and access will only be allowed with a helmet, which will be distributed at the entrance, up to a maximum of 200 people at the same time (if this number is reached, you will need to wait for some people to leave the site). An entrance ticket must be purchased on site: £5 for adults, £2 for children aged 7 to 14, and free for younger children and disabled persons.
