When the festively decorated animals return to the valley around 12:30 PM, you can witness an ancient tradition up close – a heartfelt celebration full of local spirit and Alpine charm!
Enjoy the scent of "Krapfen" – a beloved sweet pastry typical of South Tyrol, traditional music and entertainment by the folk music group "Sarner Echo", the traditional folk dance group performing the Schuhplattler "Die Wipptoler Plattlgitschn", and the folk music group "Schlernwind", along with delicious regional specialties and refreshing drinks. A festive atmosphere is guaranteed!
No matter the weather – the event will take place in a festival tent. The Volunteer Fire Brigade of Ratschings, Jaufental Valley unit, is looking forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable day filled with tradition, music, and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality!
