RAM Film Festival

A Look at the Climate
Since 1990, the Fondazione Museo Civico has organised a film festival, which has been known since 2021 as RAM – Rovereto Archaeology Memories.

The Rovereto festival follows a unique format that includes screenings, talks, exhibitions, training courses, and guided tours designed to explore the local area through the events of this wide-reaching festival.
It showcases the most recent, captivating, and visually striking Italian and international works focusing on the theme of World Heritage, aiming to highlight monuments, places, peoples, and distant traditions through the immersive medium of cinema.

The festival programme spans five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, taking place at the Riccardo Zandonai Theatre in Rovereto and at other culturally significant venues across the region.

Alongside a schedule primarily centred around films and documentaries, the festival also offers:

Talks and in-depth sessions with sector experts

Informal meet-and-greet events with special guests over an aperitif

Guided tours, tastings, workshops in the city, and much more

The RAM Film Festival is organised by the Fondazione Museo Civico of Rovereto, with the support of the Municipality of Rovereto, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Caritro Foundation, and the Cassa Rurale AltoGarda – Rovereto, in collaboration with the Tourism Board of Rovereto, Vallagarina and Monte Baldo.
