Albergo Centrale in an historic hotel, tourist, and accommodation facility in Trentino, situated just a short distance from the major cities of Northern Italy, and just 5 km from the summer and winter sports facilities in the Folgaria and Lavarone highlands.
The Albergo Centrale di Carbonare in Folgaria (Trento) is a historic structure on the Folgaria and Lavarone plateaus. Its history dates back to 1921, when it was hopeful and longed for a rebirth after the First World War.
Now in its fifth generation of management, the building resembles a simple tourist hotel and is situated on a territorial level in an exceptional manner, situated between the highlands of Folgaria and Lavarone.
Located in the main square of Carbonare di Folgaria, Hotel Centrale offers private parking. A few meters away there are two free public parking.
Tourists, sports enthusiasts, and travelers will find the Albergo Centrale to be in a great location, with it being just 5.0 km from the ski lifts of Lavarone (Bertoldi) and 5.2 km from the ski resorts of Folgaria (Costa).
The Folgaria Golf Club is only 4.6 km away. Albergo Centrale is 20m away from the ski bus stop, and it takes 15 minutes to get to Lavarone Bertoldi and Costa’s slopes, where you can reach all the connected slopes.
From the square in front of the Hotel Centrale starts the "Water Trail" and the path that, passing by the playground in Carbonare, leads to Lake Lavarone in about an hour.

Friendliness and comfort

We stayed at Jacques's Albergo Centrale. It's an old-fashioned hotel with all the comforts, clean, and very friendly staff. The property is in an excellent location for both hiking and skiing, halfway between the Lavarone and Folgaria ski resorts. The owner, Jacques, was very helpful with our every need. The hotel also has a restaurant. The traditional food is very good and reasonably priced.

We had a great time!

We spent four days at this hotel, and everything was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly, and Jacques, the owner, was a cheerful and very welcoming person. We'll definitely be back!

Warm welcome and kindness, just like family!

We stayed at Jaques over the Christmas period with two families with small children. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, and we dined with them every evening, enjoying traditional cuisine at a great price. They were also very attentive to my gluten intolerance. The rooms were simple and comfortable, and the location was excellent for reaching the various ski resorts. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Excellent base for visiting the Alpe Cimbra

A welcoming atmosphere, without any pretensions to luxury, yet very welcoming and clean. Perfect for an easy family vacation! Its location, just a few kilometers from both Folgaria and Lavarone, makes it perfect for visiting both. I highly recommend it.

Very positive experience

The strong point of this hotel, besides its strategic location, is definitely the kind and friendly staff, always ready to welcome me, my wife, and our two children with a smile, pampering us with attention, especially the little ones. Pleasant stay

We stayed at the Hotel Centrale over the Ferragosto weekend. The welcome was excellent, and the staff provided excellent advice on local activities. The location is central, allowing you to reach various destinations in just a few minutes, and there's a supermarket across the street. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with daily linen change if needed. We didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast provided everything we needed to get through the day. If I were to return to the area, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Sunday lunch in the mountains!

On Sunday, February 4th, I had lunch at this quaint restaurant with my wife and daughter. The wild boar with polenta was fantastic! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back! I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel at home in a restaurant!
