Hotel Baita Dovich 

Elegant and welcoming

Don't let the name fool you. This hotel is anything but a cabin. It's elegant and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The furnishings, all in wood, are modern and refined. The food is excellent. Blending traditional recipes with gourmet cuisine, the chef creates delicious dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Nicola, always courteous and professional. If we really have to find a flaw, it's its location for those who want to ski. You can leave the hotel with skis on, but only to the Marmolada cable car. So if you don't want to hike the Marmolada every morning, you'll have to take the car or ski bus and walk about 500 meters to the chairlift. It's not much to enjoy this beautiful hotel.

A nice surprise

Completely renovated hotel, spacious and bright room. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is excellent, with mostly sweet treats featuring local and homemade products. Dinner is spectacular, with a varied menu and always generous portions.

Warm and attentive

Perfect for skiers! The ski slope runs right past the front door. The entire team are perfect and very friendly hosts. The food is delicious and very varied. The rooms are very clean, and the beds/mattresses offer a good and restful sleep. Fresh fruit is always available. Our stay was topped off with a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner followed by fireworks. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Perfect stay

Small friendly hotel next to the piste at the base of the Marmolada. The food is excellent, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff are all wonderful. Thoroughly recommended.

A 5-star cabin

We spent two wonderful days in a property that combines a family atmosphere with attention to every detail, making our stay exceptional. The entire staff is incredibly kind, and the restaurant is truly top-notch, from the appetizers and first courses to the tender meat and desserts. Breakfast is also generous, varied, and carefully prepared. I travel a lot for work, and I've rarely found such well-maintained and high-quality accommodations as the Baita and Ristorante Dovich. The value for money is undoubtedly excellent. For skiers like us, the lodge also offers convenient and ample parking and direct access to the ski slopes.

Perceptible elegance

Couldn’t have been better

We went for a four day weekend of skiing in the Marmolada area and while the skiing was fantastic as always in the Dolomites, the stay at Baita Dovich made our short holiday a truly special and memorable occasion. From the welcoming and personal nature of the staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, the cozy bar and the perfect ski-in ski-out slopeside location, we enjoyed every minute. But the best of all was the quality of the food, perfectly presented, regional and high quality, it really made the trip. Highly recommended!

The best

Weekend

We spent two wonderful days in this sweet hotel! We really enjoyed our stay, and we already knew it because we'd been guests before! For us, it's our perfect getaway. The atmosphere is clean and warm, with comfortable rooms. The owners and staff are kind and friendly, and the food is excellent! We were truly happy and are sorry it was a short stay!

We did not expect

Everything was perfect. The house itself is traditional but equipped with modern facilities. The room was spacious enough for a family with children. The view from the balcony is picturesque. We were right at New Years Eve and there was not a lot of snow so we had to go on foot for about 10 meters to the slope but it can’t be compared with going by car to the lift. It is just to warm up. When there is more snow you can get to the slope and come back on your skis. The sauna is brand new and really hot with a beautiful view to the forest from the window. The most fascinating for us was the kitchen. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff for the amazing food we had on New Years Eve!! 9 perfect dishes and prosecco as a final countdown!! Every other dinner we were served new dishes. Every dinner was unique and full of surprises. We recommend to book half board for sure. Such good kitchen is worth trying! The wine card should be seen.. it is not possible to describe. We had a feeling that we came to our relatives' house for Christmas. Thank you all for your hospitality and your perfect service! We wish we came back one day!

Class

Super friendly and professional staff with excellent cuisine and a great location, especially for skiing. The sauna could be a bit better sheltered, and the hot water pressure seems to be a bit weak throughout the valley, but these are easily overlooked. We'd love to come back again, and thank you so much for the outstanding hospitality!

Warm and perfect accommodation

This was our second time staying there for eight days over New Year's. A fantastic experience, especially considering we were a large group of five children. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming – we lacked for nothing.

Excelllent holiday in Hotel Baita Dovich

Thanks for the wonderful week. The atmosphere was very friendly there and the service perfect, the staff is very nice. It was our second stay at the hotel. We spent there a very nice skiing holiday again. We look forward to the next holiday at the Hotel Baita Dovich.
