Amidst nature, surrounded by forests, meadows and mountains, the Sarner ski hut (at 1,600 metres above sea level) is situated in a beautiful spot with a unique view of the Dolomites.
My grandparents gave the hut the name "Sarner Skihütte" after they built it in 1939. At that time, there was no road, so in winter the hut could only be reached on skis with climbing skins. My grandmother ran the "Skihütten-Burgl" guesthouse and delighted visitors with delicious dishes. One of her specialities was an omelette with cranberry jam.
The mountain guesthouse has seven rooms, which can be used either as single or double rooms. One of these rooms has been completely renovated and equipped with a private bathroom. The furniture and the bed are made of Swiss pine wood, which ensures a healthy and restful sleep.
