Alpine farm Kumpflalm

The Kumpflalm hut, in Val Pusteria, offers an authentic mountain experience combining nature, tradition and South Tyrolean flavours. From the Vierbrunnenhof, a pleasant hike of about an hour and a half takes you to the Kumpflalm, at 1,653 metres, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the Anterselva Valley. The mountain hut is open from 1 June to 15 October and serves Kaiserschmarrn, speck and local specialities. Throughout the year, the farm upholds agricultural traditions, tending to meadows, hay and animals such as hens, ponies, cows and pigs. It is from these pigs that the farm’s own speck is produced. Traditional themed evenings and dinners, canederli and music round off an authentic experience of flavour and conviviality in South Tyrol.
