Beautiful place

The refuge can only be reached by shuttle in July and August. We were guests in September, so we drove to the parking lot located a few meters from the mountain hut. The rooms are very clean; only some have en-suite bathrooms; the others have shared bathrooms, but they are very clean. The location is beautiful, and the surrounding nature is worth a visit. A well-maintained trail dating back to World War I begins there. I recommend a visit because the owners are friendly and courteous.

Posto bellissimo

A lovely, beautiful place... but you have to walk to it!

As mentioned, it's a bit of a hike up the forest path. It's worth it, as it takes you into an enchanted valley. Here, you can enjoy a casual outdoor lunch and savor the food, which is definitely worth trying... especially the local produce and the grill. For the return trip, I recommend the trail that leads through a magnificent forest to a beautiful waterfall. Following the dirt road, you'll return to the main road. For those with more stamina, I suggest taking the Cason d'Antruiles loop to Pian de Loa. Seeing is believing.
