- The Restaurant.
If you hear the word "taste" and think of a familiar atmosphere, a beautifully set table, think of delicious food and a good glass of wine, then you have found the right place. Typical dishes from the Ladin kitchen, simple and fresh, exclusively home-made by the chef Antonio and Nane, as it wants the existing tradition of Fana Ladina of the past fourty years.
"Fana" means pan in the Ladin language. The restaurant Fana Ladina is located at the entrance to St. Vigil, in an old, rustic building and seems as if it wanted to remind the surrounding modern hotels of the old tradition. The restaurant welcomes its guests in a stylish ambiance to which belongs also a "Stube" of the 17th Century. In summer you can enjoy the Ladin specialties in the internal garden.
- The Specialties.
Among the dishes the guests appreciate most, one finds the "crafun", a salted doughnut with ragout and the Ladin ravioli with poppy seeds or grated Parmesan cheese. Lovers of culinary finesses shouldn’t miss the "feies da soni", the typical potatoe "leaves", which are served with blueberries or sauerkraut. And, of course, also meat dishes and venison are offered: pork, local beef, deer, lamb, duck with mushrooms, all prepared according to the homely Ladin culinary art. Upon request, different dumpling dishes, veal shank, as well as omelette soufflé are also served.
- Accommodation.
Guests, who don’t feel like taking the way home after a pleasant and amusing meal, may spend a romantic night for two in the Swiss pine suite.
