The webcam is located at the mountain station of the Merano / Meran 2000 cable car, one of the most modern ski lifts in the Alps. The station is also known as the "Merano terrace" because it offers a wonderful view of the spa town and the surrounding peaks. Merano / Meran 2000 with its Snowpark is a paradise for winter sports (skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and cross-country skiing). In summer it offers numerous excursions, such as the one to the stone men, the Heini Holzer via ferrata and mountain bike tours.
