Webcam overlooking San Genesio and the Dolomites

Mountains as far as the eye can see and picturesque alpine villages: with this webcam you can view the municipality of San Genesio, the surrounding Dolomite peaks and the town of Bolzano below. San Genesio is located on the Salto/Salten, the highest larch plateau in Europe, at around 1,100 metres above sea level. In the foreground you can see residential areas and the historic village centre. In the background, from left to right, rise the peaks of the Sciliar, the Catinaccio, the Latemar and the Zanggen. All of these mountains form part of the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site of the Dolomites. The area is popular for its endless hiking opportunities, skiing, and also for its proximity to the South Tyrolean capital Bolzano / Bozen, a blend of cultures and architectural styles. Thanks to the webcam, you can always check the weather conditions in San Genesio Atesino, on the Monzoccolo mountain ridge between the Adige Valley and the Sarentino Valley.
