Extremely comfortable apartment. As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel at home. Plus, it's just 30 meters from the ski lifts. Rentals, heated storage, and ski school. Everything is close by. What more can I say? Thanks to the Balestra family.

Everything perfect

Everything was perfect at the Balestra house in the M apartment. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you need. It's quiet and in a fabulous location right next to the ski lifts. They're closed this year, but you can still take wonderful walks through the woods to the mountain huts for delicious lunches and sun! I felt right at home, thanks also to Marzia who immediately established a warm and friendly relationship!

Great starting point

An excellent starting point for visiting the splendid Val di Zoldo, the location is truly strategic. Wild nature and stunning mountains. Mrs. Marzia and the rest of the staff were very kind, even offering advice on itineraries. Apartment C, spacious and complete.

Like at home

We stayed for a week in an apartment at Casa Balestra, and we felt right at home. It's incredibly conveniently located close to the ski slopes; there's a washing machine and dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen, and linens included. A heated locker right on the slopes for your skis and boots is also available. The Balestra family's friendliness and helpfulness added a unique touch to our vacation. Marzia was incredibly kind and always smiling. Thank you for everything, we'll see you again!

Advised

We stayed at Casa Momi, also owned by the Balestra family and located near Fusine, just a few kilometers from Pecol. The apartment was spacious, bright, and well-located. Despite being quite close to the road, it doesn't cause any disturbance and is surrounded by greenery. From the balcony, the view of the valley (and its dense woods) and Mount Civetta is truly beautiful and enchanting. The parking lot in front of the house, owned by the Balestra family, is also very convenient and allows for easy maneuvering. The Zoldo Valley is magnificent, making Casa Momi an excellent base for wonderful excursions.

Wonderful holidays

We are a family of four and stayed the last week of August. The apartments are truly beautiful and have a magnificent view. The Balestra family is kind and helpful, and their "Fritelle della Momi" are excellent.

Lovely apartment, very helpful owner

Good welcome on arrival from owner, apartment very clean and tidy. The apartment size was good for us with 4 adults. Marzia was very helpful (speaks good English) with local information, as well as information for the rest of the Dolomites area. You must sample ice cream from the local cafe in the village as recommended by Marzia. I strongly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful holidays

I'm from the town of Samobor in Croatia, and my friends and I spent some wonderful days in Pecol at Casa Balestra in August. There were 20 of us, in two apartments that each sleep seven and a third that sleeps six. The house is in a great location, close to shops, with plenty of parking, yet very quiet. The apartments are comfortable and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Two things stood out to me: the balcony, with a beautiful view of Mount Pelmo and Mount Civetta, and the large room with a barbecue, where we all ate together one evening. Marzia and her family are very kind. We are all mountaineers and have hiked a lot. I can say that the entire village is wonderful. I hope to return!

Great family vacation. We’ll be back!

We can only give a positive review of our stay at Casa Balestra. We stayed in the summer as parents and grandparents with two children. The apartments were very welcoming. Marzia and her family were friendly and available to provide us with all the information we needed to make our stay in Pecol even more enjoyable. The house's location is excellent for enjoying the landscape and as a starting point for walks and excursions. Note the numerous child-friendly activities organized by the local tourist board, as well as by the Balestra family themselves at the adjacent campsite.
