Restaurant Oropa
The restaurant offers typical Valle d’Aosta dishes and some specialties of the chef, who uses only the raw materials offered by the surrounding territory such as toma and fontina cheeses, chestnuts (typical crop in the Lys Valley) and aromatic herbs. The stop at the restaurant is recommended to everyone but especially to those who decide to take the excursions offered by the Visitor Center of the Game Reserve of Mont Mars. Wide car parking and an outdoor area complete the services offered by the restaurant.
Some of the restaurant’s dishes: local sausages and bacon with black bread with dried fruit and honey; dried beef with pine nuts and mountain herbs; Bane et beuro (caramelized chestnuts and butter); Gressonara meat; Sausage en croute; flan with wild spinach fondue; polenta; Aosta soup - Cogne Soup; risotto with wild herbs; Lys brook trout meunière or soused; pork Nocetta with apples; frozen desserts and cakes of the house. Here you can also taste traditional national cuisine.
