Riding farm Gottardi Lara
A short distance from the splendid peaks of Campiglio, in the heart of Trentino, the Azienda Agricola Gottardi Lara in Porte di Rendena welcomes visitors to a family environment where passion for the land and for animals blend harmoniously.
The farm is dedicated to horse and pony breeding, offering engaging rides in the surrounding landscape and riding lessons designed to meet the needs of adults and children, beginners and experts. Equestrian activity is available by reservation throughout the year, with an approach that emphasises personalisation of the experience, respect for animal welfare and maximum safety (with free helmet and back protection).
The farm’s agricultural vocation is expressed in the processing of its cows’ milk into creamy yoghurt and fine cheeses. Artisanal processing using raw milk preserves the unique qualities of the farm’s raw material. A distinctive element is the slow maturing of the cheeses, which lasts from one to two years and enhances the aromas and complexity of taste. The whey, a precious resource, is used to feed the pigs, which are then processed into cured meats.
At the farm shop, it is possible to discover and purchase zero kilometre products: long matured cheeses, fresh yoghurt and a selection of local cured meats.
