Polenta – known in the local dialect as "Plentn".
This yellow cornmeal has long been, and still is, a staple ingredient in South Tyrolean cuisine.
At the Polenta Festival in Natz-Schabs, we serve polenta in every imaginable way: sweet or savory, as a side dish or a main course.
The large demonstration pot with bubbling yellow "Plent" draws food lovers from across the region.
Live music and a farmers’ market featuring local products add the perfect finishing touch to this flavorful event.
