Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is YesAlps?

YesAlps is an internet portal dedicated to the Italian Alps region. It comprises a network of websites, each focused on a specific Alpine tourist area.
  • Why does YesAlps offer free services?

Thanks to our free services, we make all accommodation facilities and other businesses useful for a holiday in the Italian Alps available to tourists. Furthermore, the free services allow us to introduce ourselves and to offer optional paid services.
  • What are the free services?

Each business has a page where it can publish photos and descriptive texts. Accommodation providers can also share details of their properties, availability, prices, closure periods, and much more.
  • Can YesAlps be trusted?

YesAlps was founded in 2006 with a website dedicated to the Alta Badia area and has gradually expanded to cover the entire Italian Alpine arc. Today, 22,000 businesses — including hotels, B&Bs, holiday apartments, restaurants, ski schools and rental services, mountain huts, and more — actively use YesAlps' services.
  • How do I respond to customer requests for a quote through YesAlps?

Like a normal email. Even if the customer's email address is not displayed, your replies are sent to them immediately.
  • How to receive only useful enquiries?

By entering prices, availability, closure periods, and any other required information, you improve the effectiveness of your listing. The better you make use of the available services, the more targeted the enquiries you receive will be. The highest-quality enquiries — those with more criteria specified by the customer — are sent to businesses that provide all the necessary information. Facilities that fail to respond to all enquiries may be penalised by YesAlps.
  • How to make the most of YesAlps enquiries?

Enquiries that match your offer have a good chance of turning into bookings. To secure these bookings, it is important to respond promptly to enquiries and send well-prepared offers. Offers should be personalised with the customer’s name and clearly state the price, period, included services, and other relevant details.

Replies such as "contact us for an offer", "visit our hotel's website" or "call this number" are very unlikely to result in bookings.

  • How many facilities receive the same enquiry?

Of course, users can contact as many facilities as they wish directly, but one at a time. The "request offer" function in the search engine allows users to contact multiple facilities at once (up to a maximum of 25, though usually only a few) based on the search criteria they have set. The system always prioritises facilities that have provided more detailed information.
  • I can’t find my business... how can I register it on the site?

Simply send us an email with your business details. We will carry out the free registration and send you the login details for the user area, so you can start using the free services.
  • In what order are the businesses presented?

The more your business uses the available services (publishing photos, texts, availability, prices, collecting reviews, etc.), the higher it will be listed compared to others. Businesses that purchase optional services are given further priority.
  • I don’t have the login details for my user area, what can I do?

Log in with the email address used on this site (the address where you receive emails from YesAlps) and then click on the "Recover password" link. To change your email address and for other problems with accessing the user area, contact us.
  • I receive enquiries for periods that are not of interest to me, what should I do?

By entering availability, prices, closure periods, and other necessary information to describe the services you offer, you will receive enquiries almost exclusively for periods when you still have availability and from your target customer group.
  • Is your system compatible with my management software?

The YesAlps platform is compatible with many management software and channel managers.

Contact us indicating the software you use.

  • Even though I haven’t registered my business with YesAlps, it’s still listed... why?

YesAlps displays publicly available data for all tourist-related businesses in the Italian Alps free of charge.
  • I don’t want to receive emails from YesAlps, what should I do?

You can receive two types of emails from YesAlps:

    • customers writing to you through YesAlps forms
    • communications about our services

If you do not want to receive our communications: write to us, we will deactivate them.

If you do not want to receive customer enquiries: write to us, we will deactivate them.

  • How can I delete my business from YesAlps?

If you have ceased operations or if you simply do not want to appear on YesAlps, contact us.
