Communication with the hotel before arrival – including the room booking and all the information provided – was among the best I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a good Wi-Fi connection. The natural surroundings are absolutely incredible. I truly hope to return to this hotel and this area in the future.

A blissful oasis to relax and tune into nature

We had the pleasure of staying at Top Hill Cottage and the experience was excellent from every point of view. The villa is located in a privileged position, immersed in tranquility and nature, with a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and truly suggestive. The environment is very well-kept and extremely clean: the interiors, modern and elegant but with the constant presence of wood and natural materials, transmit hospitality from the first moment. The rooms are really large, comfortable, ideal for both short and longer stays. The large kitchen is fully equipped and the living area, enriched by a traditional fireplace, represents the heart of the house, perfect for moments of relaxation in company. The outdoor area is also very appreciable, where it is possible to have breakfast with a view of the mountains or spend time in total tranquility. The position is strategic for those who love excursions, nature and sports and not far from some of the most suggestive villages of Carnia. A special thanks goes to the managers, Alessandra and Davide, for being extremely friendly and helpful, who made the stay even more pleasant thanks to their hospitality and valuable advice on the area. Top Hill Cottage represents an ideal solution for those who want to experience the mountains in a private, comfortable and authentic context.

Excellent breakfast and dinner

The location is excellent! During our four days stay, we enjoyed the rich breakfasts and delicious dinners. The rooms are well heated and the comfort is good.

The absolut perfect stay for a family of four

The only thing we regret after staying at Sore Navauce Chalet is not having the chance of staying longer. The chalet is perfect, new, and beautiful, fully equipped, offering an amazing view of the mountains and the woods. The hosts (Davide and Alessandra) made us feel welcome in all possible ways, with plenty of attentions and always ready to help us /give us all the information and suggestions we might have needed. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, you really get the chance to enjoy nature, disconnect and relax. Our children had a great time, Davide and Alessandra helped us find the best activities/excursions for their ages at a reasonable distance from the area and they both loved this short holiday (ages 4 and 7). We will definitely go back!

The location is very good, the gastronomy is excellent

The gastronomy was excellent. The staff were very kind. The hotel’s location is very good, and we could easily reach the ski slopes.

Excellent place, lovely people, perfect food

We stay here almost every year for the overnight stay during our journey down to the south. The owners are really friendly. Although we do not spend much time there, they always welcome us back as if we were family and make us feel like home. We love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks. Everything is just perfect. We will be back!!!

A pleasant stay at a relatively reasonable price

From my point of view, the rooms might benefit from some reorganisation, as there were limited electrical sockets for charging phones and the lighting could be improved.

Little Italy on the Austrian border

The hotel has an excellent location and offers everything for a good skiing holiday. You have to walk just 300 meters to the first lift in Nassfeld, and then you can return on skis directly to the hotel—good food, bar, and spa centre.

Recommendation

Great location, good starting point for skiing or hiking, attractive in summer and winter. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. These are the main reasons why we've been coming back for years.

Il soggiorno presso lo chalet di Alessandra e Davide è stato fantastico. L’appartamento si trova immerso nella natura ed è una struttura completamente nuova che presta attenzione ai dettagli e rispetta l’ambiente. Alessandra e Davide sono stati dei perfetti host, ci hanno accolto e accompagnato allo chalet e ci hanno offerto un dolce di benvenuto. Esperienza assolutamente da consigliare.
