Lovely apartment

We stayed in the apartments, not the main hotel. The staff on reception were kind and helpful. The apartment was located on the edge of town in a quiet lovely location. It had a kitchen with all you needed for simple meals, the bedding was gorgeous and the bathroom was immaculate. There was private parking but on the occasional time it was full there was plenty of on street parking. We would definitely recommend!

Winter holiday

Friendly staff and wonderful hotel position. The rooms are big and new. Good breakfast and dinner.

Comfort, hospitality and food quality

Our room was very comfortable. The staff was very kind and made us feel at home. Food quality was amazing. We were very happy to be in this hotel.

Perfect place to relax

A very good location for cross-country skiers (e.g. trails are across the street). In the village there are very nice places to eat delicious local dishes - you can reach them by foot. The apartment is very quiet, clean and equipped in all you need to spend longer time comfortably (kitchen, washing machine). Hosts are very kind, helpful and make one of the best donuts we have ever eaten (Fat Thursday was in the meantime). We plan to come back.

Feels like home

The property is very close to Dobbiaco and San Candido, in a quiet location on a secondary road. In the morning, the view from the room’s balcony is simply stunning. The rooms, breakfast area, and shared spaces are spotless and always well kept. Breakfast is truly a highlight: local jams, honey, and milk, fresh bread, dried fruit, cold cuts, cakes—just perfect for starting the day right. And then there are the hosts, Barbara and Maria—welcoming, kind, and always ready with excellent tips to help you make the most of your time in the area. It genuinely feels like home.

Good locataion

Very good location, near the center and also close to the ski bus and the Monte Baranci ski lift.

Spacious and modern room

We highly recommend Hotel Moritz. The room was spacious and modern, with a balcony, a pleasant and warm atmosphere, private parking, and a very good breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful. We liked everything. Well located on the main street near the bus station. We would happily return to this hotel in the future, whether in summer or winter.

Great apartments, cozy, well furnished

Apartments are well-furnished, full of space, well-equiped kitchen, with all the necessary facilities close to the apartment. 5 min walk to city center! Peaceful and set by the river, a lot of parking space, 3 min drive to Monte Elmo ski ground.

Absolutely perfect

We stayed as a group of three friends at the beginning of the summer 2025 season… What can I say? There was no way the stay could have been more perfect! The scenery around the apartment is beautiful — we often considered just staying in the house or in the yard enjoying the view rather than going out. The kitchen is well equipped, and if your goal is to cook a bit to save money during the trip, that is definitely possible in the apartment. The host is very polite and friendly; we felt completely at ease (I hope not too much at ease to bother anyone — but we truly did feel comfortable). Everything was clean, organized, and thoughtfully arranged for the guests. I will absolutely never forget this place, I want to come back again, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to all my friends who ask me about it.

Very nice stay in the Dolomites

I have enjoyed the stay at the old style Sudtirol apartment house with my own kitchen, bath, bed and balcony in a quiet surrounding with a stream directly next to the house. Great place for people who visit Dolomites because of cycling, hiking and running. If you arrive without a car, you need to walk to the bus or train station in Innichen or Versacio, but the walk is very nice along the mountains.

Another relaxing time at the Moritz

Christian and Stefano and their families have taken up the reins from their parents with gusto. From the warmth of welcome to the daily contact they are keen to ensure that every guest has what they require to optimise the enjoyment of their stay. In January 2026, I enjoyed my third stay over a period of ten years. The infrastructure of the hotel is continuously being modernised to enhance guests comfort and enjoyment. Upon returning to the Moritz after a good workout on the fabulously prepared and maintained ski tracks in the surrounding area and a refreshing and cleansing shower, I do enjoy drinking a hot chocolate and eating a piece of freshly baked cake or strudel in the lounge before heading for the Sauna and Spa. And after a period of relaxation, a tasty and freshly cooked dinner awaits which I enjoy with a beer or glass of local wine. I cannot recommend the Moritz hotel too highly - especially if you are a cross-country skier like me. Well done to the whole Family Guerreschi and their delightful team.

Truly outstanding

We have been visiting Sud Tirol for over 20 years, staying in numerous places, and this was one of the best. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice. The apartment and all the furnishings were like new. Everything was spotless. I will not hesitate to go back. Additionally, the owner were very friendly and helpful.
