My family and I returned to Villa Alba this winter, after we had had a great experience the first time. This time we checked in with a small child.
The house has a very cozy touch, and you have all needed amenities. But the hosts are the two extras making the difference: They are kind, thoughtful and always there to help. They can make you feel like home, with a lot of suggestions and answers to all you might need.
We will definitely come back, and we highly recommend this place.
This hotel is super well located, close to ski shops and ski lifts. Very friendly and helpful staff. On arrival, they really did their best to get our room ready quickly. We had a nice room with wooden floor and balcony and nice view. If you like long dinners, this hotel will definitely satisfy you. Both breakfast and dinner are always very extensive, and they offer a nice choice of Austrian and Italian wines. The fitness and wellness facilities are excellent. And the car is safely and securely parked in the underground garage. It was our first ski holiday in the Dolomites and will definitely come back again.
Three of us visited for a week of cycling in the Dolomites, and we couldn't have been more pleased with both the location and Maria as a host. The views from the house were unbelievable, the area was quiet and peaceful, and access to the cycling routes was exceptional. Access to the grocery store, cafés, dining, pharmacy, and shopping was excellent as well. Maria and her mom were outstanding hosts, and the house was extremely comfortable—perfect for our needs. There was also a nice garage where we could store our bikes. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in the Dolomites for cycling—you won’t be disappointed.

This spacious and comfortable apartment is beautifully located. Perfect for a week-long family stay. The ski lift is just across the street, and the large gondola lift is a 5-minute walk away. A large supermarket is located opposite the building, which is a great convenience. The apartment includes a parking space in the underground garage, which can easily be accessed with a Thule roof rack. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and speaks very good English, making communication easy for international guests. We hope to return next year to the beautiful Alta Badia region.
Hotel Dolomiti is a highly recommended venue. Friendly owners, good service and tasty meals. The hotel is close to the ski lift, however, walking with skis in the winter season would be difficult. Care has therefore been taken to transport and collect guests by bus, driven by the friendly Milo. It would be a pleasure to return there.
The Internet connection (WiFi) would need to be improved.
We came without a car and we could do our grocery shopping, go to the bakery and to restaurant by foot. The appartement has an amazing view and is in a calm setting, overlooking the village. We were a group of 4 cyclists coming to ride the great mountain passes surrounding the area and we really appreciated the garage to store our bikes and the bike boxes. Our host Martina was very helpful to assist us when we had questions or issues. She even got us a ride from the supermarket during a particularly intense rainstorm!
It is a great and peaceful place to relax.
Please note that the appartment being on the second floor, there is no outside dining area connecting directly to the kitchen/living room.

This B&B is a unique place with very friendly hosts and an atmosphere that is so relaxing and welcoming that we already look forward to coming back. It has a very special and familial vibe.
The breakfast is super delicious with lots of homemade delicacies, which is a perfect start for a day in the mountains. I can honestly say that this is the best B&B that we have ever tried and would most definitely recommend it.
Pleasant atmosphere, a lovely host, excellent food, and well-organised ski logistics (a ski room and shuttle bus to the slopes), as well as spacious rooms. In short, everything was superb and excellent value for money.
Chalet Ambria is a perfect place for these who look for nice apartment. Location - about 1 km to city centre, about 300 m to ski lift and slope. Shops and bakery 1-3 km. Parking place near the building. Apartment is very nice and comfortable, perfect clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Barbara is very nice and helpful person. WiFi is working good.
