Mountain huts and alpine farms of the Italian Alps

Many years ago the grandmother of the „Tschötscherhof" sat every summer at the Puflatsch in this mountain hut with a hoard of grandchildren at her feet and offered the passing hikers fresh milk, a glass of schnapps and carefully prepared cheese sandwiches.

The Garelli hut is a typical alpine mountain hut located in the middle of the Marguareis Park and at the foot of the homonymous massif. Located on a lovely plateau, it offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the mountains above and the Alps with a view of the Matterhorn.

Take a break at the lodge Ütia Florian after a long day on the slopes! Here you will enjoy traditional cuisine in an alpine atmosphere; you can try the typical local cuisine, i.g. a traditional apple strudel, or end your ski day partying at the aprés ski.

The Nëidia Hut is situated on the Seceda Alp above S. Cristina in Val Gardena, in the middle of the Puez-Odle Natural Park, directly below the spectacular Odle Group

This recently renewed Alpine hut lies at the feet of the "Queen of the Dolomites", that is the Marmolada, in Pass Fedaia. The Hut Fedaia is located east of the Fedaia Lake, in one of the most beautiful site of the Dolomites.

This refuge covered in wood is the ideal place to discover fascinating Alpine customs and traditions, also in its architecture. It feels like you can literally reach out on touch the Marmolada mountain from the panoramic balcony, the real gem of this refuge.

An historical mountain lodge located at the bottom of the famous Vajolet towers and Rosengarten mountain. It welcomes climbers, hikers and real fans from all over the world, in a friendly and familiar environment.

The restaurant, situated on the highest spot of the Ski Civetta area at 2081m, dominates the valley surrounded by the Dolomites. From the large terrace you can admire the Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada and the mountains of Friuli and Trentino.

Do you want to live a true mountain experience? Come and visit the recently renovated mountain lodge. The multiple rooms, with a bathroom in common, include towels, bed lines and courtesy set. The lodge is situated on a hill on Monte delle Piane, near the Hochbolt’s chairlift.

The Wurzeralm lies at 1707 mt and is the ideal excursion destination for young and old. You can reach the alp from Hafling village via hiking trails 2 or 2 a. A great range of dishes awaits you, such as roast lamb, lamb sausages, changing, refined dumpling...

The mountain hut Maranza is located few kilometers from Trento, at 1075 meters, and is the ideal starting point for your excursions. Here comfort and tradition meet, tasty dishes contain the most authentic traditional Tyrolean cuisine.

The mountain hut Hochfeilerhütte is at 2715m above sea level, below the Hochfeiler peak in the middle of the Zillertal Alps. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

The Tuffalm is set in the midst of the Schlern nature park and thanks to the unique hospitality of the family Haselrieder it is one of the most popular huts in South Tyrol. Families are particularly welcome to the pasture that offers lots of attractions, such as a petting zoo. The selected Tyrolean dishes taste great after a hike.

Family refuge, the 4th generation. Located at 2287m in a nice natural valley surrounded by the Alps and crossed by streams, with small huts and, in the summer months, various beasts grazing; at the foot of the majestic Pizzo Scalino (3330m above sea level).

Directly on the ski slopes of Alpe di Mera, Rifugio Camparient is located 9 km from Scopello, and can be reached by cable car or snowmobile in the winter. It offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional restaurant.With a mountain-view balcony, all rooms feature wood floors.

The Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park, away from the crowd, enchants both young and old. Right in the middle, between the Niger Pass and San Cipriano in Tiers, you will find the Plafötsch Alm. It is located at 1570 m above the sea level, surrounded by meadows and forests.

Visit the mountain restaurant Rifugio Rudi and enjoy the stunning view as well as the great food. Tyrolean specialties are served, dishes of wild meat and of mushrooms and - not to be forgotten - home-made cakes.
